A comprehensive examination will be given by appointment and in three stages:
1. Prior to Week 10 of the semester (CBMT Self-Assessment
Examination must be completed and errors analyzed)
2. Prior to Study Week (review of vocabulary terms
and treatment systems)
3. During the final examination week (essays. A list
of study questions is provided.)
If any portion's answers are not accurate, fully developed, and representative of the knowledge expected of a preclinical music therapy major, that portion must be redone.
If professionally acceptable answers cannot be given after a maximum of two rewriting attempts, a grade of "F" will be awarded. Please remember that clinical training cannot be begun until this exam has been passed.
